Before we began to talk about moving to Thailand I didn't really ask myself "Where will I be in a year from now?" But now I ask myself that question a lot.
I have no idea where I will be...Do you?
Think about this question...
~Sarah
I'm a Christian girl that loves adventure. I enjoy hiking up a mountain; and I always have fun camping and going on car trips with my family and friends. I also enjoy a good book, reading my Bible, and writing. I love hanging out with friends, and making memories. I have made it possible for anyone to comment on my post (You don't have to be a member)On this blog I will post: verses, quotes, about Thailand, funny clips, songs, updates, and more...
I'd like to know where I'll be!But it's hard to plan your life. Especially in the teen years!
ReplyDeleteI will never know what kinds of unexpected things might happen. But I like to set goals for myself, not for stuff to do, but goals for my personal self, to grow spiritually.
I can't say, "I want to have this job, and be this when I grow up", because something might happen in between there to stop it.
But it's okay. Because it's not about what I want to do with MY life; it's what GOD wants to do with THE LIFE HE'S GIVEN ME.
Happy 2012, Sarah. I hope God blesses you so so so much this year!
Thanks. :) And I agree with you.
ReplyDeleteProverbs 27:1
"Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth."
Matthew 6:34
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
My favorite verses that talk about tomorrow are...
James 4:13-14
"Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away."
I hope we can get together some time. :)
