More details about Chad...

Chad has been flown to Miami this morning at 3:00 AM We thought that we might lose his leg, but the doctors believe they have saved it, they do not know if it will be paralyzed or not. Mom and Dad are at the hospital with him now, he is not able to talk because of the tubes going down his throat. He does know that Mom and Dad are there though.
      Shawn's Story...
Chad and Shawn Yoder were going to build a house for a 17 year old boy who had lost both parents in the earth quake. They were on there way to the house they were going to live in, when they stopped because of a traffic jam. They both walked up to see what was happening. Three men came up to them and told them to stick there hands up. The boys thought they were joking, Shawn said that they saw a gun but it looked fake. When the men said they were serous, Shawn began to raise his hands, before his hands were raised the men shot Chad. Chad crumbled to the floor and Shawn ran behind a bus. The men grabbed Chad's back pack and ran, Shawn saw them leave and thought that they were going, he went out to help Chad when the men returned grabbed Shawn's back pack and ran. With some help they got Chad to a hospital, Chad was conscious the whole time and was groaning in pain. They called my mom and Chad tolled mom "I was shot, get the prayer chain started."
The doctors are worried that Chad may get an infection, they said that his life is no longer at rick, but her may loose his leg. They don't think he will loose his leg any longer but they don't know if it will be paralyzed or not. They have cut his leg from the knee down on both sides to help the pressure. The doctors say that the next 24-48 hours will be the most telling.
We are praying here, and we hope to go visit him. At the best Chad will be out of the hospital in 2 weeks. We expect him to be there for about a month.
Please continue to pray for us, and thank you for your prayers already.
