Thailand, how's it going? 12/31/11
So far if the Lord is willing we will go to New York City in April for training.
We plan to sell our house at auction after we get back from the city.
Depending on the way things go we are planning to leave in July or August. We do not have the exact date that we will be leaving.
We will sell almost all our furniture and our animals. (By the way if you want 2 female floppy eared rabbits and a double cage, let me know! :) )
Were still praing and are trusting the Lord. :)

Christmas 2.2 The real Santa Claus...
So many people here of Santa Claus and never really think about where he came from. Was he just an idea some one made up? Or is he really a man that lives in the North Pole? Well here's the answer...
Nicholas was born to a wealthy family in Patara, Lycia.
As he grew up many people noticed is devotion to the Lord. He did not think his father's faith was what the Bible talked about. So sometime after he turned 16 he left his home to go find peace.
One day the Lord visited him and told him to return to his family. Nicholas obeyed, but when he reached home he found his family had all died, leaving him a great sum of money, he also was to take over as Bishop, just as his father had. Nicholas dreaded the idea and did not want to take the position, but he had too,
So Nichole was called St. Nicholas. Nicholas began to give his money away to the poor and soon became very popular.
One day while on a walk he saw a girl crying to her father. People are not sure why this girl was crying, some think she wanted to get married, other's say the girls were facing a death sentience. But it does not matter, all that matters was that the girl needed money. So Nicholas arrived at the house the next night and through a bag of gold in the window.
The Next day Nicholas was passing the same house and heard another girl crying about the very same thing. So Nickolas arrived the next night and through the bag into the window again.
Once again Nickolas passed the house and heard the third daughter crying. So Nickolas came back that night, but the father of the three girls was hiding and waiting for him. So Nicholas climbed the roof and dropped the gold down the chimney. People believe that the gold landed in some stockings that were drying at the fire place.

Christmas 1.1: The True Christmas Story...
Christmas is here! So I thought I would post the Bible verses about Christmas. (All the verses are in the NKJV)
The True Christmas story:
Luke 2:1-38 (This does not mention the wise men.)
4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. 6 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
14“ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
15 So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16 And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. 17 Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. 18 And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19 But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.
21 And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called JESUS, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.
22 Now when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord 23 (as it is written in the law of the Lord, “Every male who opens the womb shall be called holy to the LORD”), 24 and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the law of the Lord, “A pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”
25 And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. 27 So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, 28 he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said:
29“ Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word;
30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation
31 Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples,
32 A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel.”
33 And Joseph and His mother marveled at those things which were spoken of Him. 34 Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against 35 (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
36 Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; 37 and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

Circumcision of Jesus

Craft of the Month - December 2011
Okay so I'm sure a lot of you have noticed the cool flowers some people have, well here's directions for it...

-Note-This one shows you how the make a necklace but you don't have to put it on a chain and can just make the flower. ; )
The name of this flower is: "Little Miss Mamma" or "Pom Pom": (I did not come up with the name.)Pom Pom Supplies:
Felt {approx 1 sq foot} Or you could use fabric. ; )
Cotton fabric in the color of your choice
Fabric scissors
Hot Glue gun
Now cut out bunches and bunches of fabric circles {same size as the felt circles}. I use the felt circles as a template for the fabric circles. And to save time, I stacked my fabric and cut out about 8 circles at a time. Don’t worry if the circles aren’t perfect–it won’t make a bit of difference.
Now, we are ready to make the pom poms.Take one of the fabric circles and scrunch it from the center.
Apply a drop of glue to the bottom of the scrunched fabric circle and place in the middle of the felt. Continue this process until you have covered the entire felt circle with scrunched fabric circles. Then repeat that process on the remaining felt circles until you have 5 mini pom poms.

Welcome
Okay so I just made this blog. On this blog I will post things about Thailand, some Bible verses, good quotes and sayings, crafts and so much more! ~Thailand: Right now I will write what’s going on, you know selling our house and things like that. In New York City I will tell you what we did, in Thailand I will kind of post a news letter. ~Bible verses: I will put down the Verse of the Week.~Quotes and sayings: ~The QS of the Week.~Crafts: The Craft of the month. Thailand - Whats happening now?
We are working on selling our house and funiture and things like that.
We plan to go to New York City in April.
And if eveything goes well, we will leave in June or July of 2012.
Please pray that we will continue to feel the will of the Lord.
