Saying:

"Treasure the little things, for some day you will realize they were the BIG THINGS."

Verse of the Week 3/11/12

NKJV:

"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality."

Please Pray...

Chad is leaving for Haiti this Monday, with my Dad. They want to go back for a week, Chad wants to go back to where he had surgery and thank the people there. He also plans to see some old friends. And go back to the spot where he was shot. This will be hard for him; and he needs our prayers.

It's another step in the healing process.

Tomato; Fruit or Veggie? RQ

What's a Vegetable? ---
        A vegetable is an edible plant or part of a plant, but usually excludes seeds and most sweet parts. This typically means the leaf, stem, or root of a plant. {Wikipedia}

What's a Fruit?
       The sweet and fleshy product of a tree or other plant that contains seed and can be eaten as food. {Google}

What's a Tomato?
       A red, fleshy plant, with seeds in the middle. Often grown on a green leafy plant/tree. {me}

Wait!
      Cucumbers have seeds!

Conclusion; Not only is a Tomato a fruit but so is a cucumber! Thats correct, a tomato and a cucumber are  FRUIT! The reason they are often confused is because they are NOT sweet.

Just another little fact I picked up somewhere.
