Sorry...
Until Chad is better and we are home, I will not post our regular Craft Of The Month. Unless I'm really bored. But do not count on it. The regular Verse Of The Week and QS Of The Week will continue.

We Got To See Chad!
Yesterday evening we got to see Chad! :) He cried when we walked in and said that he thought he might never see us again.
I've never seen him cry so much. But it was good to see him. He kept saying how much he loves us and how good it is to see us.
What I thought was great was that he has already forgiven the men that shot him, he hopes to see them one day again and tell them he forgave them and tell them about Jesus. He even prays for them. I think it's amazing that he can even let go of his anger, let alone forgive and pray for them.
He continues to say "God is good," and he never once mentions that he was 'lucky' to have good doctors or that he lived. He only says "By the grace of God."
I am so glade I can see him! :) He told me his side of the story. (The story I posted earlier was Shawn's story. FYI)
Chad did not think they were joking, he said that the moment he stepped out of the truck one of the 'gentlemen' (That's what Chad calls them) grabbed his back pack. He turned and told him not to touch it, that it wasn't for him, in creal.(However you spell it.) The men took the back pack and another man shot him in the back (We thought he was shot in the front he was not) he fell to the ground and the men with the gun pointed it at Chad again. Chad said that he thought he was gonna die and prayed "Oh Jesus help me." Well the other two 'gentlemen' began going through his pockets for his wallet. Chad thinks that they saved his life, because the other man did not shoot him. A man driving a dump truck, jumped out and drug Chad to his truck, Chad said he saw a puddle of blood and new that, that wasn't good. On the way the driver was cussing and swearing and so they sang (Chad and some of his pals) Our God Is An Awesome God. He said he was in a lot of pain. Chad cried when he told us what went through his head when they said "You may not make it through the surgery." Thank God he did.
There are so many miracles involved in this. Yesterday (or was it the day before?) they thought they would have to do surgery to remove the bullet lodged in his hip, they also said that there was shrapnel in there (bits of bones and stuff.) But when they did another scan last night it was gone. The bullet and shrapnel gone. We believe it was a miracle. :)
Thanks for all your prayers, I'll keep you posted.

More details about Chad...
Chad has been flown to Miami this morning at 3:00 AM We thought that we might lose his leg, but the doctors believe they have saved it, they do not know if it will be paralyzed or not. Mom and Dad are at the hospital with him now, he is not able to talk because of the tubes going down his throat. He does know that Mom and Dad are there though.
Shawn's Story...
Chad and Shawn Yoder were going to build a house for a 17 year old boy who had lost both parents in the earth quake. They were on there way to the house they were going to live in, when they stopped because of a traffic jam. They both walked up to see what was happening. Three men came up to them and told them to stick there hands up. The boys thought they were joking, Shawn said that they saw a gun but it looked fake. When the men said they were serous, Shawn began to raise his hands, before his hands were raised the men shot Chad. Chad crumbled to the floor and Shawn ran behind a bus. The men grabbed Chad's back pack and ran, Shawn saw them leave and thought that they were going, he went out to help Chad when the men returned grabbed Shawn's back pack and ran. With some help they got Chad to a hospital, Chad was conscious the whole time and was groaning in pain. They called my mom and Chad tolled mom "I was shot, get the prayer chain started."
The doctors are worried that Chad may get an infection, they said that his life is no longer at rick, but her may loose his leg. They don't think he will loose his leg any longer but they don't know if it will be paralyzed or not. They have cut his leg from the knee down on both sides to help the pressure. The doctors say that the next 24-48 hours will be the most telling.
We are praying here, and we hope to go visit him. At the best Chad will be out of the hospital in 2 weeks. We expect him to be there for about a month.
Please continue to pray for us, and thank you for your prayers already.

Thailand, What about the business? What do we need per month? 1/1/12
We plan to find a manger for our stores. We don't think we will sell it.
We will need about $3,000 - $4,000 a month. We hope to have support, since we will not be able to work over there. We also need support for our coffee shop, but we do not know how much we will need for the coffee shop. We are trusting the Lord...
